Pioneering Soil Science Since 1992

We don’t just move dirt; we transform it at the molecular level. With over three decades of university-backed innovation, we replace outdated earthwork with permanent, rapid-injection stability.

TX ProChem started in 1992 with a simple idea. Texas clay was causing more foundation damage than anyone could keep up with, and the methods available at the time, moisture conditioning and select fill, were slow, expensive, and temporary. We believed there was a better way: treat the soil itself, permanently, instead of working around the problem every few years.

That idea became the ProChem Ionic Liquid Stabilizer, a patented solution that changes expansive clay at the molecular level so it stops absorbing and releasing water the way it always has. The next generation of ownership took over daily operations in the years since, building on the original process and expanding the business across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arizona, and Oklahoma.

More than 30 years later, TX ProChem is still family-owned and still based in Texas. We are still solving the same problem we started with: soil that will not sit still.

Built on Data, Not Guesswork

TX ProChem does not treat every lot the same way. Before we mobilize, we review the geotechnical report and the lot-specific requirements provided by the builder’s project manager and engineer of record. That data tells us how deep the active clay zone runs and how much stabilizer a specific site actually needs, not an industry average.

Our crews carry that data into the field. Injection depth, spacing, and volume are set before the rig ever touches the ground, and every application is documented as it happens. If site conditions shift once we start, our team adjusts the plan and communicates the change immediately rather than pushing through a plan that no longer fits the ground in front of them.

Once treatment is complete, we do not disappear. If an independent GEO testing company you select finds an area that needs more work, TX ProChem returns and reinjects at no additional cost. That is not a marketing promise. It is built into how we operate.

Quality and Integrity

Quality You Can Rely On.
Integrity We Stand By

Soil stabilization is invisible once the work is done. You cannot see 15 feet below a slab, and that is exactly why the standards behind the work matter more than anything you can see on the surface.

TX ProChem holds every project to the same standard: treatment depth confirmed against real geotechnical data, injection coverage documented as the work happens, and a team that has been doing this in Texas soil since 1992. We are fully insured and fully licensed to operate across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Our process is not just something we say works. It has been independently validated through a University of Texas at Arlington study, and it is protected by a registered patent for our moisture barrier technology. When you work with TX ProChem, you are working with a company that has put its process in front of independent review, not just its own sales copy.

Safety and Compliance

Quality You Can Rely On.
Integrity We Stand By

The ProChem Ionic Liquid Stabilizer is designed to stay in the treated soil zone. It does not leach into groundwater or migrate into surrounding areas, and our process complies with applicable environmental standards in every state where we operate.

We take the same approach to safety on every job site. Our crews follow standard safety protocols during mobilization, injection, and cleanup, and we carry full insurance coverage for every project we take on, from a single residential lot to a multi-hundred-lot subdivision.

If your project requires environmental documentation for permitting, lender requirements, or an engineer’s review, TX ProChem can provide the technical information you need.

TX ProChem works with builders, developers, engineers, and homeowners across Texas. Whether the job is a single custom home or a 200-lot subdivision, the standard is the same: accurate proposals, a treatment plan based on real data, and a crew that shows up when we say we will.
